No battery icon when charging

I have had my Fitbit One since 2014. I've used it constantly since then. I recently became ill and have not been able to use it for 3 wks. I plugged it in yesterday, to charge it and the battery didn't show. After 10 hrs of chging, it's still hasn't come to life. Help please.

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

Its old so there may not be anything you can do.
