Hello,
I have had a fitbit One for years without any problem. But I recently lost it.
I succeeded in finding a used one. This "new" fitbit one works great but has firmware 46.
Is there any way to update it ?

I am having the same issue with a fitbit one I just purchased used off ebay...same version stuff and can't load the new firmware. I tried everything. It works other than the update.

I'd recommend trying the steps shown on this helpful article about Fitbit devices not updating. That should certainly help you out with this.
Try that out and let me know how it goes!

I followed these steps before. To be sure, I tried again this morning
- KO after reboot of my fitbit One
- KO after reboot of my iPhone
- KO from W10 fitbit application

I was in contact with the support.
They found no solution or workaround.
They offered me a discount to buy a new Fitbit. I appreciate the offer but I won’t buy another device as I really love the One and consider as many within the forum that there is no replacement for it.
I prefer my old second hand One. No update but it syncs and counts steps & stairs perfectly.
