Notifications on Fitbit desktop

I do not like the new notifications that pop up throughout the day with progress reports.  I already know these things.    Can you please provide a way to disable the notifications?  That way if some people like them they can still get them and for those of us that consider it annoying we can just turn it off.  Thanks
