One Not Updating - (com.fitbit.http error 500.)

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been trying to update the firmware of my fitbit one from 6.46 to the latest.

I have tried fitbit connect, the windows 10 app, and IOS app, and all error.

I have tried the reset trick (holding the button for 12+ seconds whilst plugged in), different internet connections (including mobile data and different wifi networks) and still have no luck.

Windows 10 and Fitbit connect just give an unspecified error, the IOS app gives "The operation could not be completed. (com.fitbit.http error 500.)" and has done for weeks. Is this an issue for the updates or my device. I haven't looked at my network communications to check where the 500 error is occurring, but it is mighty annoying.

@DerekH-Au Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you are having with your One not updating. Thanks for trying the restart steps in order to sort this out and for trying updating in your mobile device and computer too.

By any chance, do you have any other mobile device or computer in which you can try the update? If you do, try the restart one more time and then the update. This has helped for other users too.

Keep me posted!

After having already tried on my desktop and IPhone 8, I tried my IPad mini with the same result. Please advise next troubleshooting step on the script 🙂

Thanks

Where did you bought it? Was it recently? You can try contacting the retailer, they may be able to help you out get a new one!
