Will it retrieve my activity while dead when recharged?

@JP2300 no, unfortunately, if the battery was dead while wearing it, it's unable to track your steps. You'll have to purchase a new Fitbit or delve into replacing the battery (I've done several and it's not difficult). Cheers!
