One disabled by car fob

Went for a walk with my Fitbit one in my pocket with my Chrysler fob. The fit bit stopped working. Upon finishing the walk I checked the one and the time was wrong. It was about the time I put the fob in my pocket. No new data was recorded. Did the fob interfere with the one? I reset it and the time is correct but about 8k steps didn't record.

I've not heard of this happening before and can not find another similar thread in the forums.

 

To rule out a coincidence is there any chance you could replicate the problem? You could then pass the info onto customer support who, I'm sure, would welcome the information.

Did it again without the fob. Fitbit Told me to reset time to time zone. Makes no sense but Fitbit corrected time on own but didn't correct any other issue
