Hi, @Androcar , assuming the timezone is correctly set on your Fitbit, it will reset to 0 every night at midnight. The calories you see in the morning are the calories you have burned since modnight, just by staying alive (your body burns calories just carrying out its normal processes like breathing, digestion and pumpng blood)
It is also normal to see a few steps if you were wearing your Fitbit overnight, as it will likely interpret some hand movements during your sleep as steps, particularly if you have not had a very restful night. These false "steps" should work out to be onlŷ a tiny number of your daily total, and most people decide not to be unduly concerned, unless you are getting 100s of steps without getting up at all.

Hi, @jeemcginnis, you should always have calories on your Fitbit in the morning, as your BMR calories are counted from midnight whether or not your wear your One. These are calculated based on your profile information (gender, age, height and weight) and are the calories you must have burned just by staying alive -- the calories you burn keeping your brain, heart, lungs, digestion etc going. If you actually wear your Fitbit you will get credit for additional activity calories.
