One not picking up steps

I have an Charge HR and a One.   I don't wear them together.  Today I wore my One and was busy around the house and checked my steps.  The One was off and I had to press the button to see the reading.  It was blank then show Fitbit 6.6  and then showed information.  Thought step were low so I synced  with my iPhone and looked at the dashboard and there were 0 steps logged during a 2 hour period when I knew I was walking.    I reset the One yesterday when the time was wrong.  It showed 6589 steps when I got up.  Had to do it several times before it worked.     Could my One be wearing out?  I've had it nearly 3 years.

Yes it very well could be wearing out. They do not last forever.

You could try restatrting again. But I would contact support. They will offer a discount to help you out as it is out of warranty
