One won't charge w/ new charger

I received a new charger today for my FBO after losing mine in Chicago 2 wks ago.  However, I've tried plugging it in to multiple USB ports and wall plugs and it will not charge.  I've done all the trouble shooting.

Any other suggestions?

Hello @auscgguysgirl,

I find this curious, since I have many friends at work with the Fitbit One and we borrow each other's charging cable all the time with no issues.

I assume that you have tried cleaning the contacts on both the charging cable and your Fitbit One.  Also, was this an original Fitbit charging cable or did you get a third party one?

I hope this helps.

I have tried cleaning the contacts on both, despite the new cable being out of the package this morning.  I bought the charger directly from the FitBit site.  Any other suggestions?

I can't reset, sync or try to update firmware if the FBO has no charge and won't take one.

Is the One turned on?

As for updates the app will tell you when an update is availible. You dont need the  cable to sync. Now if the tracker is not on, i dont find any info above, does it turn on when placing in its charger?

It might be that you have a bad charger, or possobly the One has problems,  but unlikely.

It also took a little brain pounding to realize FBO was not the company you work for.

As for posting it is considered rude to post in all bold print. The default color and fount is adequate.
