Resetting All Data

I used to have a FitBit Flex years ago. I stopped using it. Then I started using a FitBit One a day ago. The dashboard is showing all of my old data. I just want to start anew. Is there anyway to clear all of the data?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome back @togorman

Easiest way is to get a new email address, since these devices pair with that address. You can also remove the Flex from the account before setting up the One.

Hi @Odyssey13. By "... to get a new email address...", I assume you meant setting up the new Fitbit One to a new account, using a different email address and password than what was previously used for the Flex, correct? And I agree, that's the best way for @togorman to start with a clean slate. But since this will be a new account, the Flex won't be there to remove, right?

This is what I did in the end, as I want to start fresh. The first go around, I had 60 lbs to lose and that was a great accomplishment. This time I am a personal trainer and my friends and clients want to be motivated.

In the end, the two accounts make sense. Thanks.

Wow! That's quite an accomplishment there @togorman. From 60 lbs overweight to becoming a personal trainer, congrats! I don't think you'll have any trouble motivating friends and clients. Your example alone is an inspiration for all of us. Keep up the good work!
