Setting up my fitbit one

I have followed the instructions but keep getting the message that my tracker cannot be found (it is connected to a USB port and charged). What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the dongle inserted into the USB port? (Not the charging cable.)

No. The charging cable is the only thing I have.

@sloany,

 

You should have gotten a dongle with your One if you bought it new.

 

If you don't have a dongle, you can set it up with the Windows 10 Fitbit App, provided your computer has bluetooth LE.
