I use my PC to sync my ONE fitbit, and never had an issue with the silent alarm.
Tonight I logged on to change the time, and it will not update on the fitbit!!!
Everything else updates/syncs perfectly fine, but the alarm shows the edit with "waiting to sync" next to it. I sync it, and come back to the dashboard to find the old time on there again!!
Incredibly frustrating, as now I can not turn off the alarm, can not change it, and can not even turn off my ONE fitbit to stop the alarm sounding.
It now goes off at 5:30am every morning when I don't have to get up until 7:30am!!
Does anyone know if the fitbit alarm stops vibrating after a minute or so?
If so, I'll just hide it in another room until I find a solution 🙂
If I can't find a solution, I will not be recharging the fitbit!
Only thing I can think of is that fitbit suddenly changed the systems that can update alarms. Only support seems to be for smart phones (which I do not have) or windows 10 PC. Mine is windows 7.
Never been an issue before, but have they changed the systems without bothering to let us know?

Amazingly it just worked after a week of no success. Not sure if they fixed something or what. We'll see if it still works tomorrow.

I am having the identical problem with my Fitbit Alta. The problem just started in the last week. I have Windows 10, so I don't believe it's restricted to Windows 7. I have seen several similar questions cropping up on the forum recently, but have not seen a satisfactory answer. Hopefully a fix is forthcoming.

Having the same problem with my Fitbit Flex. First time I have had a problem changing settings. Repeated process three times with same results, on old alam not deleted and one not updated.

Same problem with my One on a mac. Everything else syncs. It's just the alarm that won't work anymore.

I found it will sync alarm changes using the app on my android tablet. The PC app still will not update alarms. It would be interesting to see how many have success with the app on a tablet or phone but not on a PC.

Now it is working again through the PC sync interface. I guess either FitBit or Microsoft updated something. It would be nice to have FitBit acknowledege this problem and let us know when they or Microsoft have changed software that affects something in the FitBit app.
Note the only change I made on PC was to install Microsoft updates a couple days ago. Perhaps FitBit was changed to require a MS update that I had not loaded yet.

It now works for me as well...clearly something changed. I don't think that a Windows update fixed it for me though, as I double-checked and the last update on my PC was 11/11, and the problem wasn't resolved until 11/16. But I'm just glad it's fixed!

It wasn't a Microsoft fix since I am on a Mac. Obviously Fitbit fixed it either intentionally or accidently.

Update:
Sync is working again!
My fitbit went through the washing machine and I feared it was lost. Took a couple of days of drying out and three attempts to recharge before successfully reviving it. Now it syncs again!
Either FitBit fixed something or my unit just needed a good wash

I’m having exactly the same problem with mine (but on my iPhone app not a PC) it’s soooo annoying! But every week I try to delete the alarm then it doesn’t work, I forget and it happens all over again!! Why on Earth haven’t they sorted this after two years???

@Lucydave3 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for sharing the experience you have had with your silent alarms. Thanks for your efforts in trying to delete them accordingly.
By any chance, are you syncing your tracker right after deleting the alarm? The changes will be effective only when syncing right after deleting it.
If it is only happening on your phone, that could be happening as a result of the Fitbit app not being up to date. Please check if there are any updates available for the Fitbit app.
If your app is up to date, please try logging out from the app, rebooting your phone, and logging back in. Then, try deleting the alarm and syncing right after.
Hope this helps. Let me know the results!

@Lucydave3 Thanks for your reply and thanks for your effort in trying those steps three times. You are very welcome!
Hopefully, these steps will help other users who might be experiencing the same situation.
I'm glad you are back on track and that you will be able to sleep a couple more hours on Tuesdays!
