I updated my fitbit one and it won't sync, after restarting it 5 times I got it to sync once then it stopped working again all the other post here simply say the same thing and link to the troubleshot page which nothing there works. It worked perfectly before the update and since it seems so many are having issues after the update it is the update that is the problem so it is fitbits fault. Is there a real fix coming or can we revert back to a working firmware for the tracker and dongle? I have used it for years with no problems until yesterday. It seems like a waste of money now, don't want to but I guess I will have to switch to another brand that actually works correctly.

Welcome to the Community @Xibalba! If your Fitbit One is not syncing after the firmware update, try these syncing troubleshoots. Make sure that there isn't another bluetooth device that may be creating interference during the process. Setting up your tracker as a new device may also help you to bring it back to sync as usual. Also, make sure that your mobile device is running the latest version of the Fitbit app for iOs or Android device.
Let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same issue. Mine is about 2 months old and started after an update last week. I finally got it to sync again after resetting the unit deleting the app and reinstalling but have lost it again. Cannot get it to sync.

I've tried the troubleshooting page and nothing work. I don't use a mobile device I use the dongle on a PC. When I was updating it said something about the fitbit base station/dongle updating so it can sync to update the firmware on the tracker ever since then it has been messed up. I uninstalled Fb Connect tried the windows 10 app it synced once then would no longer detect it. Having to uninstall/reinstall programs or restart the tracker half a dozen times to get it to sync once then having to repeat to get it to sync again is a major problem.

My FB One will not sync since Sat 2/27 at 9:31 am EST. Have tried resetting, removing/adding app back to phone, unplugged dongle.....nothing works! I also tried to replace my FB One and set up as new device. It just searches and asks if my FB one is powered up! So Frustrating! 😞

My fitbit synced via bluetooth yesterday about 7 PM just fine no issues, but won't now, neither via bluetooth nor the dongle and laptop. The tracker is currently charging, i didn't know the battery was so low, but its not syncing.

Everytime these people run an update it mucks up everything when will they learn just to leave well enough alone.Maybe they could give 100.00 credit coupons to update to a newer model or I myself will find another supplier for they are everywhere.

at least with the "multiple trackers found" you could log in and it would sync......nothing happening now

I uninstalled the windows10 fitbit app and reinstalled older PC fitbit connect program, it syncs it once every now and then won't detect the tracker again for 24-48 hours. I was hoping to save up and someday try and buy the FB Aria Scale but will hold off or maybe go withings scale instead. I do love my fitbit one so I will wait awhile and see if it gets fixed before deciding on jumping brands. Looking at the forums at all the complaints over the issues hope it gets fixed soon.

Which device are you trying to sync with @joefitone?

If you tell us more about the device you're trying to sync with, perhaps someone here will be able to help @runspastic.

I called the fitbit helpdesk and my issue is now resolved. The step that either I missed or was left out of the directions is when you reset your fitbit one, it needs to be connected to your computer. After I reset it while it was in the connected to the computer, I rebooted my iphone6. Then I set it up like it was a replacement fitbit one and everything is now working. Hope that is helpful because when it wouldn't sink, i was so FRUSTRATED... BUT........I had to remind myself I was experiencing a first world problem and to chill out! 🙂

i thought my tracker was dying yesterday, fully charged it the night before, and yesterday nothing was happening when i hit the button. hooked it up to charge, and it showed a dead battery. i did a restart of my tracker (took me a while to figure out how) a few times, then i had an issue with the tracker displaying the words for all the stats, fixed this time zone in the settings, then it finally synced to both bluetooth and dongle.

Hi @jojobee. Following a successful restart, your Fitbit One switched to what Fitbit refers to as Beginner Mode; and as such, the display will show the word first and then the stat. After cycling through the various screens five times or so, regular mode resumes. Please refer to the following help article for more information - http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/What-is-Beginner-Mode-and-how-long-does-it-stay-o... . Have a nice day.

I guess a fix isn't coming anytime soon since there seems to be a few new threads about the issue. It syncing once every 2 or 3 days defeats the purpose. Guess I can get a 2 dollar pedometer and just write the # of steps at the end of the day in a notebook.
