Hello. I am a new Fitbit charge 2 owner. According to the device, I went up 122 flights of stairs my first day, 150 on the second, and waiting for today's results. While no doubt this would be great, I actually climb three to four flights of stairs per day. I live in Miami where everything is flat. I am inside most of the time and not in the wind (I saw this mentioned as a potential issue in an older posts but there don't seem to be newer ones about this). Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Best AnswerI also am having the same issue with the stairs, 64 flights one day 39 another etc. I called and they helped reset it. It lasted 4 days then started again with tons of stairs, so I called again today and was told I would need to replace it and I said fine since it is only a few months old. I was then told they go back to my original one I purchased in 2015 so it was not covered as this one was a replacement last December for one. I said no the date should start when I got this one and he said no since they replaced it for a defective one I bought in 2015 that they would only give me 25% off on anyone I chose. So I guess I am stuck with one that gives me tons of stairs everyday. I will just go to another company.

Best AnswerThank you for the information, but I have never had an issue with any product when replaced, it started that day as new. I did happen to have a defective washer from Sears and they restarted it on the date it was delivered when they took the defective one back. Oh well it truly does not matter as I am done with this anyways, but I do thank you again for the info.
