Sync problems

When I try to synch my "one" the computer displays a window and instructs me to plug it in.  There is no button to begin the synch.  How do I do it nowadays?

Is your dongle plugged into a usb Port?

 

With the message you are getting I suspect not

I have tried with and without.  Used to be I just needed it NEAR the computer.  Has it changed? Sr. Ruthhttp://fellowshipcharitos.digsoldev.com/fellowshipcharitos@yahoo.com

If you want it to sync to your computer the dongle does need to be plugged into a USB port

@lizentwoya Welcome to the Fitbit Community! As @WendyB said, the dongle need to be plugged in to your computer for it to sync. It will sync automatically if your tracker is from 15 to 20 feet away from the dongle and you must be logged in to your online account. 

 

If still having trouble, check this syncing master post to get instructions on how to sync your tracker with your computer.
