Time is Showing Wrong on my One

How do I reset the time of day...it is off on my Fitbit One

You can't manually set the time but it should set itself whenever it syncs to your phone or computer and it's adjusted according to the timezone set in your profile at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit

 

Has your fitbit been through the setup process ok and does it seem to be syncing ok?

Where is the sync button on the dashboard?  I must be missing something really obvious.

You can't sync via the web dashboard. You sync via the app on a phone or a windows 10 computer. It should sync automatically when you open the app. What are you syncing to?

If you're using the app on a phone then go into the account section (it looks like an ID card) and it should tell you when it last synced.
