Adding friends on fitbit

I have tried to add friends on fit bit and nothing works. I have used 2 options with Facebook and putting in their name. How else to add friends on fit bit?

They must have an email to add them. Do they?

@lizzy2317 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for posting your inquiry about adding friends here.

Are you still experiencing difficulties to add them? Just as @WendyB mentioned, you can add them using their email addresses. I find this option more easy than any other. Please check this help article to learn more about this.

Also, on the thread shared above you could tap the profile picture of any users and you will see their Community profile. Then, under the picture you should see an option to go to their Fitbit.com Dashboard. If you click that you will be able to have the option to add them too.
