Hi @Roseladym, from the Windows 10 app, tick the box under advanced settings, disable automatic, and choose your time zone to make sure it's set correctly, then sync, and it should fix the time on your One. Cheers!
Best AnswerHello, Luddite here, where is the windows 10 app? How do I obtain it? I have windows 10, but I also have Chromebook - would a Play app work?
Best AnswerHi, @Dalona for Windows 10 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/fitbit/ for newer Chromebooks: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fitbit.FitbitMobile Cheers, Darren 🤓
I'm having the same problem but haven't been able to sync my One in a few years. I hand-track in my fitness tracker. Is there a way to fix this? It's been going on for about 2 weeks and completely made my One useless.
Please don't say buy a new fitbit. I already know this is my last fitbit unless they start making something comparable to the One.
TIA!
Best Answer@Rosedale can you elaborate? I'm not totally understanding your query. You're stating you manually track your Fitbit One's results, I assume using a notepad or spreadsheet? I know people who do this as they're paranoid about connecting online. Whatever works and keeps you healthy! We've all gotta find ways we're comfortable with and if manually copying your steps rocks your health, then rock on! What's changed in the past 2 weeks that's preventing you from seeing and logging your daily step counts this way? Is the display no longer displaying your steps? I use several Fitbits personally, though rather fond of the One 🙂
It's a bit annoying to think of all the time I'm wasting trying to synch my One if the truth is Fitbit killed all the Ones. The clocks should synch when you synch the device properly. My Alta is working well.
Had to disconnect the One and restart it, lost my steps for today but the time matches up correctly.
Best AnswerI have the same problem as Roseladym and Rosedale. I found my old Fitbit one in a drawer recently and started using it again, but the time is completely off. It is not synced to my Mac or iPhone. Is there a way to manually reset the time on the Fitbit one without doing it in the app settings or on dashboard??
Best Answer@LLK612 you're welcome to believe "Fitbit killed all the Ones", bigfoot sightings, and a faked moon landing if that floats your boat, though recognize your contradiction of it syncing properly trumps the technical issues you'd been temporarily experiencing. Perhaps consider syncing your device more frequently if you're still encountering issues with occasional synchronization disconnections. Hopefully, it'll continue running smoothly. I've gotta bounce, I'm about to be abducted by aliens! 👽
Best Answer@reneeys yes, Fitbit Ones that haven't been used for a long time may have the wrong time on them and it's immediately rectified when you sync. No, there's no way to change the time without the app.
Thank you Williger! And now for more technology challenged questions....In order to sync (on my Mac), should I just follow the original set up instructions in the manual? Do I have to restart my tracker first? Thanks for the help!
Best Answer@reneeys I'm always happy to help anyone technologically challenged. You don't need to restart your tracker, once you reconnect to your Mac it should automatically update the time. Please share how this works out and happy stepping!
Best AnswerThank you Williger! Before receiving your most recent response, I actually went ahead and synced like you had recommended earlier and it worked perfectly. I am now happily stepping in real time! Appreciate the help!
Best AnswerYes, my one hasn't been able to sync in 3 phones and 2.5 years. I've done all the trouble shooting.
Now, without being able to sync I'm having the time issue that cuts my day at the 1/3rd mark and starts my count over again.
