My dongle is always sitting in the USB port on the front of my computer but even with the charging cable in the USB port next to the dongle, they are not talking to each other. My weekly e-mail reports had to be set up again as though they had never been set up - they were pre-Windows 10 installation - and I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't do apps or any smartphone stuff so it has to be the dongle - I don't know what's gone wrong.
Any ideas? Would be grateful for any help - thanks in advance.

I am not understanding your Question. The Dongle and Charger do not talk to each other. The dongle is just need to sync your device to the Dashboard.
Is your device Syncing?
