I sent a fitbit One through the wash and dry cycle. Have put it in a bog of rice. Will it live?

You did the right thing with the rice - it's your best chance and it has been known to work. Leave it for at least 48 hours and don't try to charge it until it's completely dry.

I've washed my fitbit one and it still works, never put it in rice just put it on and never had an issue.

Fitbit One + MyFitnessPal = - 100lbs

Amazing news @LocoMutant, I'm glad to hear that your buddy is still working after it got wet.
