Since the recent upgrade, my ONE no longer shows me activities to log, with the previous steps, distance, stair flights, etc., nor does it let me make notes about exactly where I went on my walk, etc. It wasn't broke; what were they trying to fix? The new functionality is practically useless.

Hi @SunsetRunner. I think you are referring to the dashboard, not your Fitbit One per se. If you use the timer functionality of your Fitbit One to track an activity, it will show up separately on your activity log after you sync your One and you will have the opportunity to change the name to whatever you like; and it will show your distance, steps, floors, calories burned, etc. Note that my comments refer to the dashboard when looking at it on the Fitbit web page, after signing on to my account at www.fitbit.com or using Fitbit Connect on my computer. Hope this helps. Have a nice day.

I can't seem to get to the Dashboard via the Fitbit Connect app on my Desktop. It used to pop up a window that said 'searching for tracker' and then when it found it, I'd get a 'go to dashboard' prompt. That isn't happening anymore. Yes, I found the right place but I have to log into the website, not use the app.

Hi again @SunsetRunner. Which operating system are you running on your computer?

Windows 10. The fitbit.com site works OK; it's the FitBit Connect app that totally changed.

Hi @SunsetRunner. I don't like it either. The good news is that you don't have to use it. You can go to the set up page and download and install the Windows PC version (i.e. the old legacy Fitbit Connect program). You don't need to remove the Win 10 app, as both version can co-exist just fine on the same computer. I don't use my Windows PC very often these days; but I do believe that you'll need to have the Fitbit dongle plugged in with the legacy Fitbit Connect program (perhaps not, so just try it both ways and see what happens.) Hope this helps. Have a nice day.
