What happens when my fitbitOne gets full (and I don't sync it)? Does it overwrite, or stop working?

I don't want to do any syncing with my fitbit.  I just want to use it as a clock and a pedometer.  I also don't want to have any personal data uploaded on my activities.  Therefore, what happens when the storage on the fitbit fills up if I never sync it?

@mcsparin  short answer is yes. It will write over the old data and replace it. When you get to day 31,  day 1 will be gone, so only the last 30 days will be there.

Hi @mcsparin  page 5 of the user manual - click to read - "The One tracker stores minute-by-minute data for one week. After 7 days, that data
is converted to a daily total, which is stored for an additional 23 days for a total of 30 days." So it would seem that you'd lose the first day of those 30 days if you keep going. Your personal data is safely stored by your own unique email address and password, on the Fitbit servers. Have you been synching before?

I'm not interested in tracking anything in the past.  I've done syncing and I don't like it.  I don't want my personal physical activities online no matter how private it is. I don't want  the software on my computer, nor do I want to sign into the website.  I'm just trying to go one step above a plastic pedometer. I mainly want to know what happens if you stop syncing completely, and the device memory fills.  Will it just overwrite? thx.

On the.,fitbit itself, you will only have access to today's data.

It therefore doesn't matter what is saved, if you do not want to sync.

However you will find the time may not stay correct, and a sync will be needed.

@mcsparin   You wrote that you want to use the clock.  @Rich_Laue is right.  Your clock time will drift and it won’t stay correct.  And you must sync with a device to change the time when you travel across time zones.

If you put your Fitbit on your ankle when you ride your spin bike, then you just don’t get it.
