When to log an activity

I'm confused about when to log an activity.  For example, if I do an aerobics DVD, should I just wear the fitbit one and let it calculate burned calories, wear the fitbit one and log the minutes that I do the arobics or not wear the fitbit one and only log the aerobics.  I don't want to double dip, but I also want to get credit for my activity.

If you want the steps to register toward your goal, I would suggest wearing the tracker regardless. Something like an aerobics DVD doesn't entirely track well with a tracker, especially if you're using a step along with it. It would probably be good to create a manual activity to track something like that. The manual activity will overwrite calories, so you won't be double-dipping.
