ZTE Fit 4G Smart with Fitbit One?

Hi All - I'm planning on getting a new mobile phone - just got a Fitbit One and my HTC Desire X doesn't actually sync to it but I can sync to my laptop at the moment.

So, although my phone works, I'll probably upgrade it at some point so I've started looking at the ZTE ones.  I like the Blade but it only has Bluetooth 3.0 - at least the Fit Smart has 4 Low Energy support for smart devices.

Does anyone know if this is what is required to make it work for Fitbits??  I can't find any mention of it anywhere.

There are some ZTE phones listed on the compatible devices list, but not many, and they all seem to have different names in Australia.  I think the Blade V7 is called N880 in some places and Blitz here.  It's all so confusing!

In the meantime - I'd love to keep my HTC Desire X so if anyone knows how to make it compatible that would be excellent! 🙂

Thanks

Katherine

Hi Movina

I ended up putting the dongle thingy into my laptop and setting it all up from there.

I had already downloaded the app from the google app store on both my phone and Nexus 7 tablet, and neither could actually sync (neither device had a slot for the dongle, and neither have the new blue tooth system that the fit bits seem to need).

My One is seeming to sync OK to the laptop on a regular basis with the dongle left in and the laptop turned on.

Aaaah - my One is now sync-ing with my HTC Desire X!!! It looks like once I had run the set up on the laptop it seems to have sorted itself out over night!

Whoo hoo!

So HTC Desire X might be able to be added
