I've read other posts but can't seem to find the same problem....
Tuesday I walked 14,234 steps with a cal. adjustment of 1,009
Wednesday I walked 15,515 steps with a cal. adjustment of 1,669
Yesterday I walked 15,379 steps with a cal. adjustment of 459

Question is why so low on Thursday?

I'm having a similar issue. I switched a few days ago from a Fitbit Zip to a Fitbit One. I'm starting to regret that decision.

Zip on May 9th:

Steps: 16,187

Calories Burned: 2568

Zip on May 10th:

Steps: 15,515

Calories Burned: 2504

One on May 23rd:

Steps: 18,257

Calories Burned: 2444

One on May 25:

Steps: 24,743 (I walked over 12 miles)

Calories Burned: 2574

I walked around 2000-2500 fewer steps on the 9th and 10th than I did on 23rd, yet I earned more calories  than I did on the 23rd. I walked over 8000 additional steps on the 25th than I did on the 10th, yet I burned just 8 additional calories? This makes no sense to me.

My activities and intensity have remained the same. The only thing that varied each day was the number of steps. My Fitbit Zip was almost certainly accurate, because when I followed the calorie recommendations I steadly lost weight. I really don't understand the discrepancy.

I've also been having syncing issues (finally resolved by restarting the One) and issues with the One not properly recording active minutes. Some days the count appears to be accurate and others days it is extremely low. This problem is still unresolved.

Example:

May 23rd:

Steps: 18,257

Active Minutes: 102

May 24:

Steps: 13,711

Active Minutes: 39

May 25:

Steps: 24,743

Active Minutes: 175

May 26:

Steps: 16,396

Active Minutes: 18
