I think in the desire to offer more features, and have better sales, they have added newer products they feel are placed better in the broader market.  I am a big fan of the fitbit one myself.  It was nice to have the floors, and rechargeable battery.  I finally ended up getting the charge 3 as a replacement and I am really enjoying the heart rate monitoring.  I always wanted a heart rate monitor for my treadmill workouts.  Some people don't like the wrist band style, though, so if that was an important feature, I don't know there is anything as compact as the one.

Fitbit One will no longer sync properly to the application and or the website. They will give you temporary solutions however they want you to go out and buy a new tracker even though yours still works. I'm pretty Furious about it as I love my one
