mobile syncing on wifi

It seems that my phone has a lot of syncing issues in general with the one but the most prevalent seems to be that it will not sync to my phone while I'm on wifi and I just want to know if this is normal behavior.

I am also having problems with my fitbit one not syncing, I have had to reboot it twice in the last 3 months.  I am not very happy about this as its ot that old.
