"Driving" not erasing steps

When I forget to remove my Fitbit One while cycling, I've always been able to just go back and log "driving" for the time I was cycling so my step count for the day stayed correct (I log cycling with a Garmin). However, that didn't work this morning. I'm showing 7000+ steps for the day, most of which are during my 80 minute bike ride. I logged driving, but it didn't erase the extra steps.
Have they changed how this is handled?

Never mind - found the problem. I was logging the driving for my cycling time and not my elapsed time,. I'd stopped for a meal midway, so I still had another hour of cycling. Once I corrected that, everything was kosher again.

No not that I know of. You have to put in the exact time.
