I recently upgraded my dad from a fitbit Zip to a One. I added the One to his account and left the Zip linked to his account as well. He does not have a smart phone but my mom has the app on her phone and it would sync with that and there is also a laptop in the house as well. My mom recently got a zip as well and since she got her fitbit my dad's is no longer syncing. She created her own account and we have even logged her out of the app and we are using my dad's account, but it is still not syncing. Is there a way that both devices can sync? I would assume that alot of people have multiple fitbits in one house. Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this problem and how we can fix it. Thank you!

Hello @AlexandriaGirl1,
The easiest way to get everything syncing most consistently is to use the laptop to sync, though specifically with the Fitbit Connect software. If you have Windows 10, it'll default to installing the Windows 10 Fitbit App.
To install Fitbit Connect:
From now on the computer will sync periodically with any nearby Fitbit (they'll need to be within about 20-30 feet from the computer and yes, it needs to be on).
I hope this helps.

Hi @AlexandriaGirl1. I would like to add a few points to @PureEvil Frank's excellent earlier post.
You can have as many devices as you like in the house, but Fitbit uses a single-channel Bluetooth connectivity, such that it can only one tracker can sync at a time. So, if you have your dad's Zip still in Bluetooth reach, and his One, and Mom's zip, my take on this is that you have too many devices competing for that Bluetooth single channel with the single Fitbit dongle, such that it's a bit of a hit and miss as to which tracker will hit the channel. If you take the other trackers out from BT reach, I am pretty sure that your dad's Fitbit One will sync just fine.
The other point I would like to add is the use of a different browser. When two people use a single compugter to sync their trackers to their respective account, using the same Web browser forces one to sing off in order for the other to sign-on and sync. You can avoid this sing-off/sing-on routine if you each use your respective browser. If your mom is using Internet Explorer for example, you dad could use Firefox, or which ever other browser supported by Fitbit. This way, they both could remain signed on all day long if they wish to; and all they'd need to do is to make sure that no other tracker(s) are in Bluetooth reach (about 20 feet shoudl do it - the connectivity will immedialy jump to the closer one) when syncing.
There is no arm in having two browers installed on on PC, and both browsers active at the same time.
Hope this helps. Have a good day.
