I got my fitbit 5 days ago.  I downloaded the app onto my iphone 5s.  It syncs fine and works fine durring the day.  Each morning when I have gone to sync it to look at my sleep it tells me that I need to verify my email address. I have already done this but I tried to ask it to resend the email so I could do it again.  The only way that I have been able to fix this is to delete the app, reinstall it and sign in again.  Then it works fine till the next morning.  Although tonight, it did it to me again as I was playing with it a bit more.  Any ideas on how to make this stop? I am worried that I will start losing data.

Hi @Nan13. Something is not right. I think that your best bet would be to talk to someone on the Support Team. I've been quite active in this Community over the last two years or so and have never come across this one. If you're able to sign-on to your account and sync, you shouldn't be geting this 'verify your email address' message. Have no clue where this is coming from. What happens when you use your Web browser and sign-on to your account at www.fitbit.com - are you able to sign-on?

When you initially set up your tracke, did you follow the instructions in How do I set up my tracker ?

In any case, here is the link for the support team: http://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs

Cheers!

@Jessica_Roe welcome to the Fitbit family! Would you please be a little more specific on what you mean by verifying your account? An email should be sent to you with a verification path. Have you received it? Do let me know!

I'll be looking forward to your new comments! Cat Wink
