I spent almost three hours cleaning windows, inside and out which my Charge 2 recognised and gave 119 Active minutes.
WhenI entered this period as exercise, my Active minutes tally went down to 29...doh!
Why?
Can this be fixed?

I gather you manually logged it after-the-fact. When you do that, fitbit just goes by whatever parameters you enter when you log it to overwrite whatever data was actually recorded.. If you use the Exercise Menu to start and stop the workout, then fitbit uses the information that was actually recorded. It's as if Fitbit assumes you manually logged it because you were not wearing it at the time.

Best AnswerIf you don't use the exercise menu, and don't manually log the workout, daily totals will still be correct. You just might not get it credited as a workout unless it was auto-recognized.
I have been relying on auto-recognition...not very reliable alas, so will be careful to note when I start. Thank you for the info 🙏
