Bluetooth issue on a Mac

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I try to sync my Charge 2 to my desktop Mac, it keeps telling me to turn on Bluetooth. However, Bluetooth is already on. I've tried doing a hard shut down and reboot, but that hasn't helped. Suggestions?

Hello @DrDanNDDad and welcome to the Help forum.  Many users describe this same issue with Fitbit Connect and Mac OS Catalina and Big Sur.  The Fitbit page where you can get Fitbit Connect says the current version is from 2018.

Fitbit's newer devices can't be set up or synced with Fitbit Connect.  IMO, Fitbit seems to be moving away from Fitbit Connect and expects us to use smartphones.  Of note, the newest devices can't be set up on a PC with the Fitbit App for Windows 10, either.
