Have a new iPad, but it won’t sync with my fit bit. Says it can’t find device. Apple support say iPad is fine, and old iPad still syncs. This also occurs occasionally on android phone.

Try "forgetting" the link to the fitbit in your old iPad's bluetooth settings - it might be blocking connection to your new iPad.
