Charge 2 FitBit App Not Working

Using a Charge 2 with Android phone. The app has stopped showing my steps - both current and prior history. I can't say the phone has stopped syncing because all the data seems to be in my account, when I log in on the computer. But, nothing shows on the phone and nothing updates even though it says it is syncing. Any suggestions?
