Charge 2 Notifications Not Woking iOS

I just bought a Charge 2 and I am seriously disappointed that it does not bring up Text or WhatsApp, incoming calls or any notifications. I am using iOS . I was using a much cheaper smart watch which showed all these notifications . I would have bought another cheap smart watch if I knew such an advanced and popular brand like Fitbit could not show notifications. Or maybe I am missing how to do it ? I have turned on all the notifications on the app so I have no clue
