I had my charge 2 for 1 year and 9 months and now ever so suddenly it can not hold batter for more than a few hours. I have seen the posts and Fitbit responses to others w same problem and have followed all those advices - 1) restarted the charge 2, 2) turned off heart rate monitoring, 3) turned off all day sync. 1) does not help. 2) and 3) makes it marginally better (2 hours to about 5 hours battery life), but the Fitbit is still unusable and not a fitness tracker anymore wo those features. And I am of course out of warranty.....
Any advice?

Same problem for me. Just shy of two years and it needs charging daily now. So disappointing. Here's hoping you (and I) get an answer! I would even be willing to have it refurbished if that's possible.

+1 to this post. Upgraded the firmware today and the battery life has gone from days to hours. I hope a fix (even if it's just a rollback of the change) is coming soon.
