Best AnswerOK. So what is the solution. My screen went dead this morning. Green LED's are working. Reset doesn't seem to work, and I appeard to be synced with the app as HR and steps are updating. Is this how our relationship ends FB?
Best AnswerIm having the same issues woke up the 8th of july to find my fit bit screen blank, still syncs and vibrates but not screen! Who do i contact to send back and see what i can do to fix it? I feel lost with out it, Please Help!!!!
Best AnswerHi there, you want to speak to the moderator on this post who is called heydy she provided the solution and resolved my query. Hope this helps.
Best AnswerI too have a blank screen on my charge 2. Initially the screen appeared to split & show everything twice. Then all down one side was a strip of dots so I couldn’t see half the info. Then within a matter of minutes it went completely blank.
what can I do?
Hi, I'm having the same issue screen is blank but my Charge 2 is syncing. A restart hasn't had any effect.
Hi
I'm having the exact same issue. I've had my FitBit Charge 2 for less than 2 years.
But when I contacted support separately, outside of the forums, they just offered me a 25% discount for my next purchase.
No explanation. No help. No solutions.
Please let me know what the solution to this is. I love Fitbit. We already have 3 devices in the house and I was considering upgrading as well.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Best AnswerMy screen has done the same thing. I too have done resets and they have not worked. I am very disappointed as this is not my first Fit Bit and I had an issue with the last one I had. Are these only made to last for about a year?
Best AnswerYou are not alone, thousands of people are frustrated with the latest update, no heartrate, blank screen, no detailed sleep cycles, charging problems
Best Answerwell, my Fitbit charge 2 has died. I guess I shouldn't complain as I've had it since March 2017. It's a Charge 2 and it still syncs fine, but the screen went blank last night. I got the 25% offer on an upgrade, but I prefer this model and I have a kzillion bands for it from amazon.
Best AnswerMy Charge 2 screen just went mostly black this morning.
When I press the button I can briefly see some lines, but that is it.
Upon resetting it, the watch vibrates, but nothing comes on the screen.
I have also tried changing the clock face via the phone app as someone else had suggested.
So far my watch is still black, but is still tracking my steps, heart rate and exercise.
I am really hoping that this is an issue that can be fixed.
Thanks very much!
Anne
Best AnswerFitbit Charge 2 HR, bought for missus in January 2017. Died this morning and after reconnecting it to USB and trying to reset, it showed a load of 1s & 0s after briefly showed the fitbit logo. After reconnecting it to USB again screen went blank and has stayed blank! Searched the internet for a solution and had no luck. So, what to do now? Well fitbit Charge 2 is going into the trashcan, and the Versa 2 my wife bought for me is going up for sale. I shall be looking elsewhere (maybe Garmin or something), and as for all my friends, well I won't be telling them to invest $/€ 250 plus in a Fitbit this Christmas!!
My Fitbit charge 2 screen is blank too. Syncs, vibrates and green lights are still on. Also have a full battery showing on my app but screen still blank. Have made sure all connections are clean and dust free. Re started it several times and the screen is still blank. Is there a way to fix this without buying a new one?
Best AnswerThanks but as this is the third Fitbit that has either gone wrong or died since I started with Fitbit I think I will go elsewhere if I have to buy yet another one.
