Are Fitbit acknowledging the screens on Charge 2 appear to crack? My wife's and mine have developed similar cracks within a couple of weeks of each other.
Both Charge 2 are out of warranty.

Hello @Darwin34 and welcome to the Community. The Charge 2 was one of my favorite Fitbit models. I think it is a quirk that both Fitbits developed cracks within a few weeks of each other. Charge 2 screen cracking doesn't seem to be a commonly reported device problem. I'm comparing this to the Ionic battery problem that led to a device recall.

Thanks for the reply. I find it strange that Google searches reveal plenty of results, even lawsuits mentioned but no response in this forum.

I based my reply on user posts here in the Fitbit Community. I didn't go far enough back in the old posts, but agree that there are complaints when you search back far enough. I found one thread that is 30 pages long, but no posts have been added for two years. I only found a report of one class action lawsuit filed in 2019, which was dismissed.
That being said, this is a moderated user-to-user help site. The type of information you seek isn't the type of information that is posted on this site.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
This is the place Fitbit recommended to come, so I followed their advice.
They didn't respond to my question about failing screens on Charge 2 devices.
Looks like my wife and I will be switching brands.
