I originally had a charge 2 and then upgraded to a charge 3. I continued to use both using my charge 2 for yard work where I was often mucking around it dirt, mud, and such. The app accommodated both.
I just bought a charge 4 because the charge 3 display crapped out (but the charge 2 is still working as if it was new). Today, I was mucking around in the yard using my charge 2 and set it to record my activity. When I looked at the app on my phone, it didn't record my heart rate. Everything was below any zone which is ridiculous since I worked very hard.
Between this and the problem with it telling me to turn on location manger every time I open up the app makes me regret that I "upgraded" to a charge 4.
I've been a fitbit user for many years but I'm seriously considering switching. You don't need to know where I'm at at all times and you should allow for the coexistence of multiple fitbit devices.
