Charge 2 - I use my fit bit to record weight and workout training. By phone is not being updated with the exercise updates after syching-multiple times. Steps, active minutes are updated.

Same here. I have forced stop the app and restarted my Charge 2 and restarted my phone and cleared app cache but it still only updates outdoor walking automatically. No gym activities when I hit the button to start tracking. Started this week.

Mine is a little different. Suddenly I have to track exercise in a new way, choosing between my cell recording or manually adding. Based on a walk today, I have 31 active minutes on my watch. 9 on the app. The walk shows my highest heart rate as a red line on the map ... but didn't log it. This is ridiculous!

Same here. Records steps and active minutes. Won’t transfer walks or bike ride to my phone from the Fitbit. No idea why.

I have the same problem. Workout not getting tracked. Steps, sleep and other activities working fine. Despite raising 2 tickets, resetting the device, uninstalling the app, disconnecting and reconnecting as new device same problem persists from last Friday. Hope they quickly fix the bug

I'll add another oddity.
I track my dog walks on my Charge 2 linked to my phone (the phone provides GPS location info). I end my walk tracking by pressing the button on the Charge. If I just go to look on my phone, my walk is shown with my heart rate, distance, etc. But no map. I pull down on the app to refresh with my Charge and... the walk I just completed disappears from the app!
Hopefully another clue for the developers.

I am having issues with the exercise logs. For previous months, the last two weeks of the month of exercise logs have disappeared. Also, no pace for walks, and heart rate zones are not displayed correctly in exercise log. All of this worked fine until 1-2 weeks ago.

Google is apparently changing the app but not telling anyone about the changes. I just updated this past weekend and here is the way you track exercises that use GPS location tracking like: Run, Walk, Hike, Bike.
I just tried this with a walk this morning and it captured everything as before (Duration, distance, pace, steps, energy burned) except it doesn't plot your heart rate from your exercise. Will try a bike ride in an hour and see how it works for that.

Yep, it’s still effed. Tracked a run by starting it from the app with “Start Exercise” and it recorded the mileage and laps correctly, but when I closed the app and came back it had deleted all but one lap and messed up the mileage 🫠

Yeah, I can confirm the messed up mileage. I did a dog walk around the block of 1.0 mile. It had it all recorded nicely and I could see my path on the map. Backed out, went to check my exercise later and all it showed was the last 1/4 mile on the map. WTF?
Here is another one to try:
When you go back to look at your exercise, you should now see the map with your route with the option to see your Heart Rate Zones overlayed on your route.
What I can't get working consistently is the bar graph showing the time in each of the heart rate zones. I got one at the beginning of the week on Sunday, but then it disappeared. And I got one that looked correct where I tracked exercise only on the Charge. It had all my minutes in the Moderate zone which matched up with the heart rate chart that was displayed for the exercise. But of course, no map.
I wonder if Google laid off all the Fitbit people already.
