I've been doing various counted steps workouts and checking my FitBit progress. I'm finding that my charge 2 is not capturing all the steps and I feel robbed. For example, this morning, I did a 5000 step workout, noticed about 5 minutes in that I "lost" about 100 steps on the tracker, so I started to do double-time to make up for the steps, only to find I was 200 steps behind. Kept trying to do double-time to make up steps and in the end, the tracker was about 600 steps behind. In reality, I probably did another thousand steps than the workout. This happens often and it seems to be getting worse.
The tracker was at 85% charge.
Is my tracker wearing out? Do I need a new one?
Looking at the more current trackers and smartwatches, I'm concerned about reports of screen freezes (versa) and missing data (inspire) that I see in the forums. I just don't know what to do at this point.
