My charge 2 has not been syncing well with my Huawei p30 lite. Does anyone know of any issues or how to fix it? Thanks

Have you checked the android tips? Especially the ones for Huawei phones.

Yeah, I've tried everything it suggests on the site

I have no solution but have been having the same problem with my Huawei P Smart - it's driving me mad! Syncing has always been an issue on and off but it has been almost impossible to sync in the last 2 weeks.

Just came to say I'm having the same issue (Huawei P30 lite). Never had a problem until a few weeks ago. I've also tried every suggestion I could find to no avail. Totally frustrating. Something has changed on their end to cause issues since it was fine before. Not a happy camper!

Maybe it has something to do with the latest app update.

I'm thinking it is that. If you look at the reviews on the app in the Play store there are many ppl complaining about this syncing problem. I wanted to eventually upgrade to a new Fitbit but now I'm not so sure.

Just a quick update. I managed to sync with my son's iPhone yesterday and this morning. Syncing was immediate. As suggested, I think it is probably a Huawei/fitbit issue after an Huawei update. If you can, borrow a non Huawei phone, upload the app and see if that works.

The same problem felt the past week with my Fitbit Charge 3 - terrible slow syncing experienced. When in the app for my device selecting notifications today - this whole thing about permissions for the app showed up again. I gave many permissions. And now my device is syncing like a pro again! Not sure it was because of an update or me reinstalling the app a while back that caused it to need to have reinforced permissions to work properly. Worth giving it a shot though.

I came here to write the same thing except mine is the Charge 3, Huawei P30 Lite, wont sync. Tried all the generic troubleshooting and nothing has worked.
I'd also like to note that I tried on Windows 10 as well and I'm having the same issue saying 'sorry the setup is taking longer than usual blahblahblah'.
The time is also off on it by 4 minutes.

Ok so I managed to fix mine, I did all the usual stuff, restarting etc, but what actually solved it was by going into the settings on the fitbit itself, scrolling down to 'About' then scrolling to 'Clear user data' and selecting this. I did a restart after that and its now working like a charm.
Hope that helps some of you having the same issue 🙂

Ok I spoke too soon. I was far too optimistic. It technically has solved the issue for me on Windows 10, and it shows up on my app in my phone. But it it wont sync with my phone, to sync/update it I have to do it through my laptop. Which is pretty inconvenient. Notifications wont work either because it wont connect to my phone directly....
ugh.

Morning from the UK! Quick update. My fitbit charge 2 is still syncing straight away with the iPhone but no luck with my Huawei P Smart.

I would look at the specific instructions for the Huawei phones.
@AlexTLA if your tracker is syncing with your iOS device, you will need to disconnect the tracker from the iOS device, before it will sync to your Huawei phone.
To disconnect, move your phone and tracker away from the iOS phone
Or turn the Bluetooth of on the iOS phone.
Bluetooth protocal will only let the tracker connect with one phone at a time.
