Charge 2 not working

My Fitbit appears to be dead after 3ish years (and outside warranty). The display isn't lighting up and the heartrate lights aren't blinking, even when plugged in.
 
I think this is my 4th Fitbit. Prior to it's apparent death, it was occasionally showing a line down on the left and backward, offset display of text and images. I restarted it a couple of times by plugging it in and holding the button, but I think it's done now.
 
Any advice?
