my charge 2 started doing this today as well. I have read other threads that said to reset it. I have done that multiple times as well as deleting it from my account and readding it and turning Bluetooth on and off on my phone and still is doing the same thing. I've had mine for almost a year and a half. any insight from other users??

I have also now tried letting the battery drain all of the way (which didn't take very long considering my fitbit is cycling through all modes and vibrating like crazy) and charging it fully with a reset and it's still happening.

This just happened to me today! It wasn't syncing with my iphone app since Friday but I didn't notice until Sunday night. I charged it all night last night and it was fine this morning (still not syncing) but then about 2 hours later I got the notifications on/off and vibrating and then it just turned off and won't turn back on. I will have to charge it later tonight and try to resolve the issue. I hope I don't have to buy a new one 😞 Mine is only about 1 year old I think.

Mine started doing the same thing 2 days ago. I tried restarting and letting the battery die. I called customer service with no help other than I am out of warrant and they don't know what is wrong. As a courtesy, they sent me a 25% off fitbit.com. Not real helpful if you ask me. I will now go purchase an Apple product. They lost a good customer.

I also chatted with Fitbit. I was told that there was nothing I could do, my Charge 2 was defective and it's a known issue. I was also offered a 25% coupon towards the purchase of a new Fitbit. So the company knows that this is an issue and that my fitbit is defective but it now becomes my fault and that I am basically SOL as there is no fix for it. What a slap in the face. You think that the company would own up to this and do something for their loyal customers. I mean are these supposed to be a "disposable" item? Something you have to buy every year? Could you imagine receiving the same response from say Bosch regarding your one year old dishwasher or Apple/Samsung regarding your one year old phone?
My husband and 2 of my children also have fitbits - the way this issue has been handled - this house will not buy another fitbit.
