For a few days my Fitbit charge 2 has not registered anything. It is stuck on she screen where www.fitbit.com/setup rolls past over and over with a picture of a phone.
I have reset it but it returns to this screen and there is no changing it.

That message suggests that the fitbit has been disconnected from your account. I would reconnect it by going through the setup process again:
On the main dashboard in the app, select your profile image at the top left then select "setup a device". Select Charge 2 and it will step you through the process in the same way as you first set it up.
