I cannot get charge 2 to sync to todays date it was out of power for about a month I charged it up and it’s working but will not sync or change the date to current date

Please note that the time will be wrong if your Charge 2 doesn't sync as your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with. Since you've recently recharged it, maybe your Charge 2 just needs to sync to update the time. However, since you also mentioned to have syncing issues, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
If the issue is still not solved, but you can confirm that your Charge 2 is syncing, I recommend changing your time zone to a completely different one, sync your device, put the correct time and sync again.
