After being the happy owner of a Charge 2 for several years, my husband purchased a Charge 3 as a Christmas gift in December 2019. Now, in July 2020, the battery life has degraded so much that I have to charge my fitbit device every day! I have only ever charged it when the battery has been run down; for most of the seven months I've owned it, that has been about once every 5-7 days.
Has anyone else had this experience with the Charge 3? Is there anything I can do to resolve the issue?

Having exactly the same problem. Was using Charge2 for several years until Feb 2020. Bought a Charge3 that was working fine (recharging about once a week) until 7th July when the device suddenly used up a full charge within a few hours.
Contacted support and they're just telling me to upgrade my Fitbit App (new version was released today 3.25.1) and to also upgrade the firmware (which hasn't been made generally available yet)
I'm guessing that there's a bug in the new App that's causing the Charge3 to drain the battery as nothing else has changed.
