Charge 3 Doesn't Record Total Exercise Walk

For the last two days my Charge 3 has only recorded 1 mile and 1.26 miles of of my 2.32 mile walk. Yesterday I updated the app and restarted the device twice hoping that would fix it. Today I worked especially hard to beat my record pace, wet with sweat, only to find it did not work today either. Use Phone GPS is on, when I tap the walk tile,  after tapping exercise on my device. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What does the  map look like @MargaretLW?

Have you setup your stride?

My stride is set on automatically. Map looks fine and complete. The walk quits after a mile, but the map is fine.
