Charge 3 Screen Suddenly Very Dim

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve had the Charge 3 for 2yrs now with no issues and now the screen is very dim to the point that I can just barely read the date at the bottom of screen and every from the clock face too the heart rate/steps/calories is completely blacked out. The brightness is up all the way and I’ve already tried resetting it and could barely see the smiley face on the screen when it restarted but unfortunately was unsuccessful and still very dim, so I don’t know what else to try and could use some help please!

Check you are not in Sleep Mode.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you for the advice, but I don’t believe I am in sleep mode but the screen is so dark that I can’t even read it when I try to swipe over to settings.

I am having the exact same problem. I am heading to London Drugs tomorrow to see if they know if the battery needs to be replaced.

Swipe left on your screen to SETTINGS. Change from dim to bright.

I have the exact same problem. My device was purchased just over 2 years ago. Screen suddenly dim and fading for the last week or so.

The problem is just as bad when the device is fully charged. The brightness settings have already been adjusted - that’s not the problem.

I have tried to reset and not sure I can get the device to do that. The screen is so dim I can barely make out what is happening when I try to reset.

Wondering if this is some sort of planned obsolescence at the 2 yr mark...

I have exact same issue but also notice the sides of the display screen are more dim. I have tried reset and followed the online chat help before it got cut off.

Would be easier to do if I could see my screen. Nothing works.

Mine has just gotten worse I can't even see the display at all now. It still counts my steps etc.
