Fitbit Charge 3 received as Christmas gift 12/25/2018. Has worked relatively well until this week. First symptoms were constant vibration and going between screen off, clock face and alarm/notification setting page.
Did that for a couple days and wouldn't reliably sync to app. I tried the reset procedure, but it appeared the haptic button may have been sticking in the "pressed" position. Another couple days later, It completely shut down. Now, in the charger it will turn on and reset normally, and charge to 100%.
Take it out of the charger and it shuts off after a couple minutes. Put it back in the charger, it turns on and shows 1% battery, let it charge to 100%, take it out and it shuts off after a couple minutes. And repeat. Is there something I can try to remedy this? Is the battery faulty? Is there a firmware update? Is it junk?
Thanks,
Adam

Welcome to the Community, @formula311.
Thanks for troubleshooting this battery issue. If your tracker isn't holding a charge, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? and follow the tips provided there. After following them, test the unit.
Let me know how it goes. 🙂

My Charge 3 barely lasts 5 minutes, right up until a week or so ago, it would go 5 or 6 days between chargings. Even if it's left on the charger overnight, 6-7 hours, it still only lasts about 5 minutes. I haven't changed any settings on it as far as notifications, syncing or display in months, so I wouldn't think it's a setting issue.
